North of the Tran Phu bridge along Pham Van Dong and the Vinh Hai / Bai Duong stretch, around the Hon Chong promontory. Big apartment-style towers (the two Muong Thanh properties), a quieter local beach and much lower prices, but you are 4-6 km from the tourist centre and dependent on taxis or a scooter. Suits long stays, families who want space, and Russian-speaking groups who have been coming to this stretch for years.
