The bell tower was finished on 3 December 1935 and the building stands 38 m tall. Locals call it Nha Tho Nui (mountain church) or the stone church; it holds the grave of Father Louis Vallet (1869-1945), the French priest who built it, and a large amount of stained glass depicting saints.
