Plan Vietnam visa

Do you need a visa for Nha Trang?

Quick answer

It depends on your passport. Vietnam exempts a list of nationalities for a set number of days and issues a 90-day e-visa online to most others. Check the official portal, as the list changes.

The rules are national and change often. This is the current position on exemptions, the e-visa, the fee and the passport validity rule.

Visa On Arrival

Statuscurrent but limited
NoteVietnam has no true border visa-on-arrival for tourists. The 'visa on arrival' product sold online is a pre-approval letter arranged before travel, collected at designated international airports including Cam Ranh (CXR). Since the 90-day e-visa launched it is largely obsolete for tourists. not confirmed against an official government page.
